It's best practice to upgrade your Engine Yard Ubuntu 19.05 (stable-v6) stack regularly for the latest security and product updates. This update:

  1. Adds support for Ruby 2.7 (PR: https://github.com/engineyard/ey-cookbooks-stable-v6/pull/156)
  2. Adds support for PHP 7.4 and installs additional PHP extensions by default (PR: https://github.com/engineyard/ey-cookbooks-stable-v6/pull/162)
  3. Adds the EY_PHP_EXTRA_EXTENSIONS environment variable for installing extra PHP extensions (PR: https://github.com/engineyard/ey-cookbooks-stable-v6/pull/164)
  4. Ensures the Delayed Job processes are run as the application owner user rather than the root user. (PR: https://github.com/engineyard/ey-cookbooks-stable-v6/pull/165)
