Engine Yard Platform Release Notes for November 2nd, 2022

Action: None. The changes take place upon deployment of the Engine Yard back-end.

Changes:

Fixed: Now Auto Scaling takes into account existing app instances when scaling down.

Fixed: Latest minor version is used when creating RDS Postgres 11.

Fixed: 6th generation instances are available only on Stack v7.

Fixed: Do not allow selecting v7 stack if the application type is PHP.

Fixed: Do not allow selecting v6 or v7 stack for nodeJS applications

Added: Update db stack descriptions to mark EOL versions.

Added: Default version of Ruby offered on EYC v6 is 2.7 (and no longer a deprecated one, like before).

Fixed: Do not allow MySQL + ARM combination on Stack v7.  We're not there yet.

Added: Add a checkbox to regenerate the deploy key for applications.  No more jumping through hoops to get a new deploy key, just edit the application and check the relevant option.
